Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device with a built-in optical sensor, which arranges optical sensor elements in a matrix on the same insulating substrate as pixels, can detect a high-illuminance light without degrading detection accuracy of a low-illuminance light, and can enlarge a light illuminance range of light that can be detected by the optical sensor elements.SOLUTION: In the image display device with the built-in optical sensor in which the image display device and an optical sensor device are formed on the same insulating substrate, the optical sensor device is configured with an optical sensor element group arranged in a matrix on the insulating substrate, and an additional circuit that lets the optical sensor element group function as a two-dimensional imaging device, and in one pixel configuring the two-dimensional imaging device, at least one optical sensor element and at least two storage capacitors with two different capacitance values that store charge generated at the optical sensor element are provided.
