An image display device 1 for peeping a screen 35 by using a twin-lens scope to view a stereoscopic image comprises: a display means 41 for displaying an image for the left eye 3 and an image for the right eye 5 within a display area on the screen 35; a mouse pointer 7 for specifying positions on the screen 35 by operation inputs; and an image moving means 43 for moving the other image up to the same position of one image in conjunction with one image when either of images for the left and right eyes 3, 5 is specified by the mouse pointer 7. The moving means 43 has an image magnification/reduction means 47 for moving a part of a specified one image to a center position of display areas 13, 15 in conjunction with a part of the other image when a part of one image on display areas 13, 15 is specified by the mouse pointer 7, and magnifying or reducing one image around the center position as a center and magnifying or reducing the other image in conjunction with one image.
