PURPOSE: To provide an image display device capable of always attaining correspondence between touch panel coordinates and picture element coordinates even if a touch panel superposed to a CRT screen is shifted and attaining accurate correspondence between both the coordinates even at the time of switching an image display.

CONSTITUTION: The image display device is provided with a conversion table storing means 9 storing plural conversion tables corresponding to respective image display modes and a correcting means 10 for correcting the stored conversion tables. An appropriate conversion table corresponding to the sort of an image display mode to be inputted from an input means 8 is selected, and if the touch panel 3 is shifted, the selected table is corrected by the means 10 to use it.
