Abstract:
To provide an image distortion compensation method that can simply perform compensation according to the property of image distortion.
In an image distortion compensation device 1, when an arbitrary coordinate of an input image is defined as (x', y'), a coordinate after distortion compensation as (x, y), coordinate of the center of an image as (x0, y0) and n as a positive integer, the coordinate of input image is calculated by a coordinate conversion means 3 using a coordinate conversion equation expressed by (expression 1), and a pixel value in the coordinate of the input image concerned is calculated by performing linear approximation of a pixel value existing near the coordinate concerned with a pixel value compensation means 4.
