To provide a technique to deal with the occurrence of bleeding from the viewpoint of a user.SOLUTION: An image formation control device comprises: an image analysis unit that analyzes input image data, and when the input image data includes a line image using a black ink and a background image using a yellow ink respectively forming a boundary, and the sum of a gradation value of black of the line image and a gradation value of yellow of the background image is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold, determines, in a Lab color space, the presence or absence of the occurrence of preset bleeding as visually undesirable; a sheet selection support unit that, when the occurrence of the bleeding is determined to be present, presents a candidate medium that is a candidate for an image forming medium that is determined to reduce the likelihood of the occurrence of the bleeding compared with an image forming medium selected in advance, and receives a change to the candidate medium; and an image formation control unit that, when the change is received, transmits an image forming job created from the input image data to an image forming apparatus that stores the changed image forming medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
