Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of forming an excellent image by preventing image banding, color shifting, etc., resulting from that an actual shape of a photoreceptor is different from a designed shape.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: a rotatable photoreceptor drum 100; an exposing device which exposes the photoreceptor drum 100 to form an electrostatic latent image; a developing device which develops the electrostatic latent image to form a toner image; an ITB to which the toner image formed on the photoreceptor is transferred as the ITB rotates abutting on the photoreceptor; a rotary encoder which detects an angular velocity of the photoreceptor: acquiring means of acquiring a radius R of the photoreceptor; correcting means of correcting the angular velocity of the photoreceptor drum 100 detected by the rotary encoder using the radius R of the photoreceptor; and control means of performing control so that the exposing device exposes the photoreceptor drum 100 in synchronism with the angular velocity having been corrected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
