Abstract:
To avoid the occurrence of printing interruption due to consumable supply shortage or the like when an image formation apparatus forms an image with the transmission of a printing job from the outside of the office.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a route analysis unit which determines whether or not an image formation job is received via a VPN device; an alternative processing setting unit which analyzes the image formation job, compares a scheduled consumption amount being an amount of a consumable supply used in processing of the image formation job with a residual amount being an amount of a consumable supply remaining in the image formation apparatus, searches for an image formation method that can be executed with the residual amount by changing the image formation method when it is determined that the scheduled consumption amount exceeds the residual amount, displays the searched image formation method on an operation display unit, and receives an instruction input for executing image formation in the searched image formation method; and a control unit which causes the image formation apparatus to execute the image formation in the searched image formation method according to the input of the instruction input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
