To provide an image forming apparatus for suppressing density irregularity from being conspicuous.
The image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier for carrying dot latent images of each of a plurality of partition regions arranged in the form of a row along a direction of being intersected at a prescribed intersection angle to an axis of a center axis on the surface of the image carrier in a rotatable image carrier; and a developer carrying roller provided with a spiral groove part formed at a regular pitch in the axial direction by possessing a prescribed inclination angle to the axis of the developer carrying roller in which a value dividing size of the inclination angle by a ratio to a moving speed of the surface of the image carrier of the moving speed of the surface of the developer carrying roller is different in the size of the intersection angle in the rotatable developer carrying roller for visualizing the dot latent images carried on the image carrier by a developer carried on the surface as a developer images by being opposed so that the axis is parallel to the axis of the image carrier.
