Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can increase the reuse ratio of a sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of an embodiment comprises a sensor, a printer part, and a control part. The sensor detects, from a sheet, an image indicating that printing is performed on the sheet with a decolorable recording agent that is a recording agent including a decolorable coloring material. The printer part performs printing of an image formed with the decolorable recording agent to a medium, and printing of an image formed with a non-decolorable recording agent that is a recording agent including a non-decolorable recording agent to a medium. The control part, when the image is detected by the sensor, controls the printer part to execute printing with the decolorable recording agent on the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
