Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce a space for connecting a photoconductor drum and a ground member on an apparatus main body side to each other to reduce the size of an apparatus main body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an apparatus main body; and process cartridges 50 that each have a photoconductor drum 51 and an electrode 53 connected with the photoconductor drum 51 and has a contact surface 53a directed downward, and are removably attached to the apparatus main body. The apparatus main body includes: a support frame 26 that supports a right end 50A of the process cartridge 50 in an axis X-direction of the photoconductor drums 51, a ground sheet metal 70 that is supported by the support frame 26 and is grounded; and springs 80 that are supported by the support frame 26 and is in contact with the contact surfaces 53a of the electrodes 53 from below to connect the electrodes 53 and the ground sheet metal 70 to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
