Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device without causing a failure in cleaning an image carrier with an elastic cleaning member, even if sheets of paper are consecutively passed through to form images, just after an image forming device main body is started in a low-temperature and -humidity environment, by using the nearly globular nonmagnetic toner of a one-component developer.
SOLUTION: A nonmagnetic toner is of a nearly globular polymerized toner whose the shape coefficient SF1 is 100-120 and a photoreceptive layer of the surface of a photoreceptor drum consists of a charge generating layer and a charge transferring layer containing 5-20 wt.% 'Teflon (R)' grains on it. A cleaning blade is abutted in the direction against the moving direction of the surface of the photoreceptor drum and the top end pressure density index F of the blade = (A/d)×{4-(θ/90} defined by using an abutting pressure A (g/cm), abutting nip length d (mm) and a falling angle θ(°) against the photoreceptor drum of the blade is made so as to be within the range of 500<F<1700.
