To provide an image forming device capable of switching layouts of a vast number of function selecting keys caused by a multi-functionalization of the image forming device and to be displayed on function list screens and the number of the function list screens corresponding to preference and a user's skill.
The function list screen is composed so as to enable the user to alternatively switch two types of display modes of a normal display mode, in which many function selecting keys are displayed on one screen and the number of the screens is reduced, and a simple display mode for allowing the function selecting keys to be displayed over many screens. By this, the user can select functions in the normal display mode when executing complicated function setting or in the simple display mode when executing only simple function setting.
