Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the need of securing an appropriate space for moving an exposure means without interfering with the other constituting member at the time of turning in an image forming apparatus having such a constitution that the exposure means for forming an electrostatic latent image to a photoreceptor is attached to a cover member held rotatably to an apparatus body, and is moved together when the cover member is opened for maintenance or the like.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a stacker cover 107 supported rotatably to a housing 120, an LED holder 115 supported rotatably to the stacker cover 107 holding an LED head 112, and a link lever 117 supported rotatably to the housing 120 to be engaged with the LED holder 115, and a parallel crank mechanism is constituted of the housing 120, the stacker cover 107, the LED holder 115 and the link lever 117.
