Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the size thereof by efficiently arranging developing cartridges.SOLUTION: Four process cartridges 8 that are each installed in a body casing 2, include a photoreceptor drum 10, and are arranged in parallel along a vertical direction, and a process unit 6 that includes an intermediate transfer belt 22 on which a toner image is transferred from the photoreceptor drum 10 are rotatably configured respectively at a detachment position for detaching the process cartridges 8, and a transfer position for transferring a toner image on paper P from the intermediate transfer belt 22.
