Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus which suppress the harmful effect on an image due to the accumulation of liquid ink on a conveyance path.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: an image formation unit which forms an image by applying liquid to a recording medium that is conveyed; a drying unit which brings the liquid applied to the recording medium into contact with the recording medium and heats the liquid; a corrugation quantity detection unit which detects a corrugation quantity of the recording medium; a conveyance position change unit which moves a conveyance position in a conveyance path of the recording medium in the direction intersecting the conveyance direction; and a control unit which causes the conveyance position change unit to change the conveyance position of the recording medium in accordance with the corrugation quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
