To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce its size and can reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 is an apparatus that can transfer a transfer layer to a toner image on a sheet S, the transfer layer being included in a multilayer film F having the transfer layer and a support layer supporting the transfer layer, and comprises: a housing 10; a process unit 30 that transfers the toner image to the sheet S; and a fixing unit 80 that has a heating roller 81 and a pressure roller 82 that sandwich the sheet S and the multilayer film F, and transfers the transfer layer to the toner image on the sheet S simultaneously with fixing of the toner image transferred by the process unit 30 to the sheet S between the heating roller 81 and the pressure roller 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
