An image forming device of the present invention is provided with a development container (32) to which a supplement container (40) can be detachably attached and which has an accommodating part (36) for accommodating a developing agent carried by a developing agent carrier (31), and a supplement port (32a) for supplementing the developing agent from the supplement container (40) to the accommodating part (36); a transfer means (12) for transferring, to a recording medium, a development agent image on an image carrier (21); a loading tray (82) having a loading surface (81) on which the recording medium is loaded; and a discharging means (80) for discharging, to the loading surface (81), the recording medium to which the development agent image has been transferred, wherein the loading tray (82) has an opening (82a) that opens so as to expose the supplement port (32a) from the loading surface (81), and an opening/closing member (83) that is configured to be movable between a closed position at which the supplement port (32a) is covered to form a portion of the loading surface (81) and an open position at which the supplement port (32a) is exposed.
