PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive image forming device in which printing is not blurred and printing quality is stabilized by utilizing effectively the firmness of a sheet and carrying a sheet stably at all times between a conducting electrode and a back electrode without being brought into contact with the conducting electrode such as an aperture electrode or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A chute 73 is crossed with a straight line L1 at a crossing point P on the upstream side of a back plate 74 in a manner the angle (a) formed by both straight lines L1 and L2 is smaller than 90°, and a part of the chute 73 positioned on the downstream side of the crossing point P is positioned above the straight line L1. A chute 52 is pressed at all times above an electrode end section 74a of the back plate 74 because of its firmness and is guided along the chute 73 without being brought into contact with the surface of an apertures electrode 67 by the arrangement.
