PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of forming an excellent image without the flowing of an image by preventing or sufficiently suppressing the accumulation of a deterioration in ozone and toner filming on a photoreceptor, in an image forming device for removing a developer remaining on the photoreceptor after a transfer by a developing device developing an electrostatic latent image.

CONSTITUTION: A photoreceptor drum 1 has hardness so as to obtain 30μm ≤180μm scratch width, when the drum 1 is scratched by a conical diamond (the conic angle is 120° and the tip is in the shape of a hemisphere whose radius is 0.2mm) with a vertical load of 50g at a relative speed of 100mm/min to the surface of the photoreceptor. Then, a rotary brush 21 for scraping the surface of the photoreceptor is in contact with the drum 1 and when the contact width of the rotary brush 21 with the photoreceptor 1 is defined as NIP width, the rotational speed of the brush 21, in the moving direction of the surface of the photoreceptor is defined as Vr and the rotational speed of the photoreceptor 1 is defined as Vp, a condition of 100mm ≥NIP width×Vr-Vp/Vp≥10mm is satisfied.
