PURPOSE: To prevent a developer from falling or scattering by providing a falling developer receiving member which receives the falling developer while positioned between a developing device storage device and an image forming device main body and below a developing device conveyance part.

CONSTITUTION: A driving means for storing a manual insertion tray 65 and the falling developer receiving member 70 is not provided, and the manual insertion tray 65 and falling developer receiving member 70 are stored by the abutting engagement of the developing device storage device B with the falling developer receiving member 70 in the downward movement and then moved out of the movement range of the developing device storage device B. Namely, the manual insertion tray 65 and falling developer receiving member 70 are provided in the recessed part 67 of the device main body A rotatably in one body around a shaft 66, they are applied with constant moment in such a direction that the manual insertion tray 65 and falling developer receiving member 70 are usable, and the falling developer receiving member 70 is held so that its end part 70a abuts on the wall surface 67a of the recessed part 67. Consequently, such problems as the falling and scattering of the developer are eliminated effectively.
