PURPOSE: To copy ≥2 originals mounted on an original feed part to one sheet by performing a copy process for only one mounted original when the value obtained by multiplying the size of the mounted original by specified magnification is smaller than the size of an image formation form.

CONSTITUTION: When plural mounted originals are fed to and mounted on the platen 8 of a read part at the same time, a sensor 21 detects the feeding direction of the mounted original before it is mounted and the width in the mounted original feeding direction is multiplied by the specified magnification. Then it is decided that whether or not the value is smaller than the width in the feeding direction of the specified image formation paper and when smaller, a read is made by erasing the latent image of the mounted original except the foremost one sheet in the latent image of the mounted original formed on a photosensitive drum 17 by blank exposure or scanning only the foremost one mounted original. Only the front most one mounted original can be copied. Consequently, none of images except the image of the 1st mounted original is formed on 1st image formation form.
