PURPOSE: To provide a toner eliminator serving for both partial and total toner elimination so as to be able to eliminate toner only from an area with a processing solution previously imparted thereto by stopping the impartation of the solution to transfer paper in the case of passing the transfer paper with the processing solution partially imparted thereto in advance.

CONSTITUTION: An image forming material eliminator from an image supporter is provided with a selecting switch 7 for selecting and setting a partial elimination mode, and a control device 6 for controlling a solution imparting unit 2 so as to stop the impartation of a processing solution to transfer paper 10. An opening is formed at a part of the casing of the solution imparting unit 2, and a fan is provided to blow air into the unit 2 from the opening. The fan may be controlled to be turned on at the time of setting the partial elimination mode.
