PURPOSE: To practically prevent interference fringes to always form images of good quality by using a photosensitive body which has an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge migrating layer and is provided with plural recessed parts having a specific depth at least on the outermost surface.
CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive body is used which has an electric charge generating layer 3 and an electric charge migrating layer and is provided with plural recessed parts having ≥λ/4 depth (λ is the wavelength of coherent light) at least on the outermost surface. Each of intervals of centers of plural recessed parts is set to 10W200μm. That is, the phase of the reflected light, which is reflected from the lower boundary surface of a photosensitive layer, of the exposure light made incident on the photosensitive layer is made different from the phase of the exposure light, and interference fringes are prevented by this phase difference. Thus, images of high quality are formed.
