Abstract:
To provide an appropriate method for giving processing identification information to an information processor from peripheral equipment and installing a corresponding device driver when a plurality of same functional category processing can be mounted selectively in one peripheral device.
The information processor or a peripheral processor includes: a selecting means for selecting the processing identification information by a previously criterion when a plurality of processing identification information is acquired; a means which the user can select; and a means for editing the criterion.
