Abstract:
PURPOSE:To display a character part and an emphasis pattern by different colors, by displaying the pattern data from a means outputting code data by subjecting the same to pattern development and that from a means outputting the additional pattern based on the size of the aforementioned pattern data by colors different from each other. CONSTITUTION:When the print data of one page formed into an image in an image forming part 11 is stored in a page memory 2, a main control part 4 starts the reading of the page memory 12 and, when the data of the page memory 2 is code data, said data is converted to pattern data by a character pattern generating part 3 to be stored in an image memory 28 at every color or corresponding to the kind of the pattern data. By this method, the pattern data of one scanning corresponding to each color and the kind of the data are stored in scanning buffers 5, 6. At this time, when there is an emphasis pattern, said data are stored in scanning buffers 6-3, 6-4. Thereafter, when the main control part 4 outputs a drum rotation signal 30 to the image forming part 11, the photosensitive drum 50 of the image forming part 11 begins to rotate. Therefore, the well-balanced emphasis pattern can be imparted to a small or large character.
