To achieve image output processing for outputting one image by using a plurality of data files even if adopting a description rule, where one image data file is designated to one image to be outputted in an image output request.
An image supply device (a digital camera device 2 in Fig.) transmits a first image output request, where one of the plurality of data files used for outputting one image is designated, to an image output device (a printer device 1 in Fig.). After that, the image supply device transmits a second image output request, where at least one of the remainder of the plurality of data files is designated. In an image output device, when the first image output request is received, image output is not started until at least the second image output request is received. After at least the second image output request is received, the output of one image obtained by superimposing an image by each data file is started.
