Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the management of a medium by saving labor for handwriting a label by storing photographed contents in a memory according to any prescribed method simultaneously with the start of photographing, detecting the end of a recording medium and printing out the stored contents.

CONSTITUTION: Before photographing is started, an operator selects the contents of the label to be applied to the recording medium by using a selecting means 1 and stores those contents in a memory 3. An object is photographed by a camera 6 and fetched as image data. The date of photographing is decided and when it is different from the date of the last photographing, the designated photographic data are A/D converted by an image processing means 7. Then, the converted data are stored in an image storage means 4 for printing. A CPU 5 decides whether the recording medium is finished or not and when there is any image for printing as an image for label in the case of end, that image is edited and printed later by a printer 8. The printed label is ejected from the image pickup machine and stuck on the recording medium.
