Abstract:
To provide an image processing device, image processing method, program and ink jet printer which specify a defective nozzle during printing, execute correction of a defect during printing and further suppress wasteful consumption of a base material.SOLUTION: An image processing device acquires defective position information, acquires information on a plurality of defective nozzle candidate positions, generates a simulation image in which a defect is generated in a reference image in descending order of a first priority for at least one of the plurality of defective nozzle candidate positions, prints a correction processing image for each defective nozzle candidate position in descending order of a second priority set on the basis of a result of comparison between the simulation image and a read image, and sets the defective nozzle candidate position at which the defect is not generated in the correction processing image as a defective nozzle position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
