Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process an image while corresponding to the mixture of a background image and an image of a moving object. SOLUTION: An area specifying part 103 specifies a foreground area, a background area and a mixed area and outputs area specification information corresponding to the specification results. A foreground and background separating part 105 separates input image data into foreground object components and background object components at least in the mixed area in accordance with the area specification information. A separated image processing part 106 individually processes the foreground object components and the background object components.
