An image processing system of one embodiment includes: an image forming device; an erasing unit; a first device; and a displaying section. The image forming device forms an image on a sheet by using colorant decolorized by application of heat. The erasing unit decolorizes and erases the image on the sheet output from the image forming device by the application of heat. The first device calculates a reduced amount of an environmental load by a use of the image forming device on the basis of a reduced number of sheets by a setting when the image is formed by the image forming device and calculates a reduced amount of the environmental load by a use of the erasing unit on the basis of a number of sheets erased by the erasing unit. The displaying section simultaneously displays the reduced amount of the environmental load of the image forming device and the reduced amount of the environmental load of the erasing unit both of which are calculated by the first device.
