Abstract:
To provide an image processing system configured to generate a synthesized image so that the synthesized image formed by synthesizing a virtual object (VO) image on an image captured in a real space can be visually recognized more naturally, without depending on an imaging scene or a state of an imaging apparatus, when the VO image is synthesized on the captured image.SOLUTION: An image processing system includes: a subject information estimation unit which estimates subject information including position and attitude of a subject in a reference image; a subject CG image drawing unit which draws a subject CG image; an object arrangement position acquisition unit which acquires arrangement position of a VO image in a target image; and a definition calculation unit which acquires subject image definition by comparing the subject image with the subject CG image, and acquires VO image definition by using a relation that determines VO image definition of the VO image from subject image definition, a reference image imaging parameter used in imaging a reference image, a target image imaging parameter used in imaging a target image, a first distance between a subject and an imaging apparatus, and a second image between the imaging apparatus and VO.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
