Transmission source facsimile equipment 2 stores the image data of a facsimile job to be transmitted and ID in association, and transmits the facsimile job to transmission destination facsimile equipment 4 designated by the user, and receives the output result of the facsimile job from the transmission destination facsimile equipment 4, and compares the image data included in the output result with the stored image data, and notifies a client PC 1 of the comparison result and the output result from the transmission source facsimile equipment 2.
