PURPOSE: To simplify the check operation of each adjustment item in a self- diagnostic mode by storing the adjustment item related to parts, and displaying the check of the adjustment item.
CONSTITUTION: When a power source is turned on, while depressing ten keys of a console panel 19 of a base machine, the base machine enters into a self- diagnostic mode. Subsequently, for instance, when an operation of a key for the self-diagnostic mode determined in advance of a host computer or a word processor, storage information of adjustment items of the past history and/or the present state of every parts of the base machine accumulated in a nonvolatile memory 31 provided in a control part in the base machine is printed out. In this memory 31, information related to the adjustment items is all recorded, therefore, this recording contents are printed out.
