Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste paper even when odd number of same documents are produced and align the cut face of paper with a specified side of a booklet when an input image data for a plurality of pages is printed on one side of a sheet of paper and the booklet is produced by cutting the printed paper.
SOLUTION: Input image data from first page to (M-1) page corresponds to the first half page and that from M page to F page corresponds to the second half page. In the case of lateral writing, first page and M page are allocated, respectively, to right and left halves on one side (surface) of a paper S1 while second page and (M+1) page are allocated, respectively, to right and left halves on the rear side paper S1 when viewed from the surface. Images on M and (M+1) pages are inverted.
