Patent Searching and Data

Title:
IMAGE PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3799818
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a memory which is required to delay the data for the digital filtering by giving the expansion and image correction processing to the data obtained by compressing the input image data for every pixel and outputting the data obtained by giving the restoration and image correction processing to the data. SOLUTION: An original image is read on every line by an image sensor 11, and the image signals S1 are serially outputted to an A/D conversion part 12 and quantized there. These quantized signals S1 are outputted to a shading correction part 13 as the image data D1 having 8 bits per pixel. The data D1 undergo the shading correction or LOG conversion and are outputted to a variable power part 14 as the image data D2. Then the enlarged or reduced image data D3 are outputted to an MTF correction part 15, and the image data D4 which undergone the MTF correction at the part 15 are outputted. In the MTF correction mode, the data D3 are once compressed and then undergo the filtering processing and also the expansion processing corresponding to the compression processing. A gamma correction part 16 corrects the data D4, and a binarization processing part 17 processes the data D4 and outputs the binary image data D6.
