PURPOSE: To provide the image processor by an error distributing method reducing the scale of a hardware comparing with the conventional device.
CONSTITUTION: This image processor is equipped with a register 2 to store the processed result of a picture element preceding to an objective picture element and a computing element 3 to add a value weighting the processing result of a picture element preceding to the objective picture element for 1H stored in a line memory 4, a value weighting the processed result of a picture element preceding to the objective picture element for (1H+1) and a value weighting the value of the register 2 to the value of the objective picture element, to binarize the added value and to output difference between the added value and the binarized value, and the output of the binarized value from the computing element 3 is defined as an output image.
