Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproduction method and camera equipment to display an intended record image or an opening image of a video or the like as a display picture for specified time.
SOLUTION: A user-registered opening image has priority if it is registered. When a user first starts up the camera (V0), it checks whether the user-registered opening image (V1) exists or not. If the user-registered opening image exists, it fetches the image data (the user-registered opening image) from an image recording memory to reproduce and display it in a display 7 for a fixed time. And when the fixed time passes, it ends the opening image display (V2). If the user-registered opening image does not exist, it fetches maker-registered opening image data (a manufacturer-registered opening image) to reproduce and display it in the display 7 for a fixed time. And when the fixed time passes, it ends the opening picture display (V3).
