Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-speed imaging by an image sensor in which a shared pixel is adopted.SOLUTION: A pixel array unit includes two or more two-dimensionally arrayed shared pixels having a plurality of pixels for outputting electric signals through photoelectric conversion. A column processing unit processes electric signals simultaneously read out from shared pixels in a plurality of rows among the arrays of the shared pixels. A row control unit performs different access control between one row and another row among the plurality of rows of the shared pixels, as access control for reading out electric signals from pixels included in the shared pixels. The present technique is applicable to an image sensor etc. for imaging an image, for example.
