Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging method capable of accumulating camera motion data etc. with moving image data and an editing apparatus and an editing method for editing on the basis of collected imaging data.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging unit 11 for imaging a subject; a setting unit 12 for setting an imaging range; a positional information calculation unit 13 for calculating positional information; an imaging direction calculation unit 14 for calculating an imaging direction in which the imaging unit 11 images the subject; and a processing unit 16 which stores, in a storage unit 15, the subject imaged by the imaging unit 11 as the moving image data composed of predetermined frame units, and stores in the storage unit 15 additional information associating the imaging range set by the setting unit 12, the positional information calculated by the positional information calculation unit 13, and the imaging direction calculated by the imaging direction calculation unit 14, on frame-by-frame basis.
