The imaging apparatus is provided with an amplifier circuit 11 for amplifying a video signal output from an imaging element 10, a correction signal generation circuit 13 for generating a correction signal based on a video signal and camera shake track when a photographed image represented by the video signal is photographed, a correction signal shaping circuit 14 for shaping the correction signal by coring, and a video signal correction circuit 15 for using the correction signal shaped by the correction signal shaping circuit 14 to correct the video signal, and a control circuit 19 for setting a coring threshold in accordance with the gain of the amplifier circuit 11.
