Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus configured to obtain an image of high contrast while reducing a space required behind a transparent body when seen from an imaging unit.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an illumination device; a half mirror which reflects light emitted from the illumination device; a planar mirror; a telecentric lens which collects the light which passes through the half mirror after being reflected by the half mirror and then reflected by the planar mirror or a transparent body; and an imaging unit which receives the light collected by the telecentric lens. A narrow angle formed by a reflection surface of the half mirror and an imaginary reference plane is substantially 45 degrees. An optical axis of the telecentric lens is substantially perpendicular to the imaginary reference plane. A reflection surface of the planar mirror is inclined with respect to the imaginary reference plane so that the shadow of the transparent body is hidden by the transparent body when viewing the planar mirror and the transparent body in a perpendicular direction of the imaginary reference plane from the imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
