Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily reproduce the color of a subject even if plural optical images having passed through mediums having matually different spectral transmission factors are captured.SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 comprises: an imaging device 11 and a signal processing circuit 12 which photoelectrically convert a beam from a subject having passed through a photographic optical system 10 and output a captured image; and an entire controller 13 which functions as an area splitting unit for splitting the captured image into plural image areas, a gain setting unit for setting a white balance gain to each of the image areas, and a white balance adjustment unit for applying to each of the image areas a white balance gain set to each image area by the gain setting unit.
