The imaging apparatus comprised: an imaging lens group consisting of a plurality of optical elements; an iris placed among the plurality of optical elements of the imaging lens group; a synchronization signal generation part inputting a trigger signal and outputting at least a primary synchronization signal and a secondary synchronization signal based on one trigger signal; an imaging part performing primary imaging based on the primary synchronization signal and secondary imaging based on the secondary synchronization signal; and a lens shift driving part shifting a specific optical element in a way that a central axis of the specific optical element moves in the direction perpendicular to an optical axis of the iris after the primary imaging and before the secondary imaging when at least one optical element between the iris and the imaging part is defined as the specific optical element.
