Title:
IMAGING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3823921
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having a function for appropriately continuing focusing on an object in response to the shake of the apparatus and the movement of the object.
SOLUTION: When a panning/object movement state detection part 130 detects an object movement state in a full time AF operation, an image acquiring part 151 enlarges, nearly perpendicularly to ground, an AF evaluation area where the image acquiring part 151 acquires image data. Thereafter, the image acquiring part 151 acquires a plurality of image data from the AF evaluation area while driving a photographic lens 11 back and forth in an optical axis direction centering the previous focusing position under the control of a driving control part 153. Then, a series of operation is repeatedly performed including: the calculation of an evaluation value concerning the focusing state with respect to the plurality of image data by an evaluated value calculation part 152; the decision of the next focusing position by a focusing position decision part 154; and the driving of the lens 11 to the next focusing position by the control part 153.
