To provide an imaging device, a learning device, a control method, a learning method, and a computer program that can reduce transmission of unnecessary image data and storage of the unnecessary image data, of image data obtained by imaging.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging unit; a recognition unit that uses a learning model that has learned a relationship between an image of an animal and information indicating a type of the animal reflected in the image to recognize a type of animal reflected in a recognition image, which is a recognition object image obtained by the imaging unit taking an image; a transmission determination unit that determines whether or not to transmit image data of the recognition image on the basis of a recognition result of the animal reflected in the recognition image performed by the recognition unit; and a recording determination unit that determines whether or not to store the image data of the recognition image on the basis of the recognition result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
