Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To image a subject to obtain a bright image, in response to a command for making a wide dynamic range function be effective, by activating another function differing from the function.SOLUTION: A monitoring camera 1000 capable of communicating with a client device 113 through a network comprises: an imaging unit 101 for imaging a subject; an HTTP server 112 for receiving a command for instructing expansion of a dynamic range in accompany with composition of a plurality of images created by the imaging unit 101, from the client device 113 through the network; a dark part correction unit 106 which sets an exposure condition of the imaging unit 101 and acquires a sheet of image data created by the imaging unit 101 imaging the subject by using the set exposure condition; and a command processing unit 111 for making the dark part correction unit 106 operate when the HTTP server 112 receives the command.
