Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing a lid member from being damaged even if an overload in a great opening direction is applied to a tip part of the lid member while the lid member provided in a gripping part of an imaging apparatus is at a predetermined opening angle and rotation in an opening direction at an angle larger than the predetermined opening angle is being regulated.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a gripping part 103 rotatably supported relative to an apparatus body. The gripping part 103 includes: a base part 208 including an engagement claw 402; and a lid member 202 that includes a convex-shaped part 302 detachably engaged with the engagement claw 402 and is rotatably supported between a closed position to the base part 208 and an open position in contact with the apparatus body, and regulates rotation in an opening direction by engaging the convex-shaped part 302 to the engagement claw 402 between the closed position and the open position. The convex-shaped part 302 of the lid member 202 is engaged with the engagement claw 402 at an opening angle not abutting on the apparatus body when the gripping part 103 is rotated, and the engagement claw 402 is elastically deformed such that the engagement is released when force in a predetermined opening direction is applied to the lid member 202 while the convex-shaped part 302 is being engaged with the engagement claw 402.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
