Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus in which the cut-off frequency when the low frequency components of a captured image are removed is set such that the high frequency noise, e.g. an quantization error, can be reduced effectively and surely.
An image processing means for picking up an image by receiving the light from an optical system and processing the imaging output, i.e. image data, performs spatial filtering for removing the components of higher frequency than a cut-off frequency dependent on the numerical aperture of an optical system from the image data.
