Abstract:
To provide an image capturing optical system with improved optical performance.SOLUTION: An image capturing optical system 100a comprises a deflection mirror 71, first lens group G1, and second lens group G2 arranged in order from a front side corresponding to the object side. The deflection mirror 71 is located at a position corresponding to an entrance pupil P1 of the first lens group G1. The first lens group G1 has a primary imaging plane IP1 conjugate with a detection plane IP2 between itself and the second lens group G2. The second lens group G2 includes an iris diaphragm 70d, and the deflection mirror 71 and the iris diaphragm 70d are located at conjugate positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
