To sufficiently absorb energy based on impact force applied to a car body from an object by a car body front part even when an automobile collides with this object when the object positioned in front of the automobile at advancing travel time is looked from the automobile side, particularly, when this object deviatively exists in a side part of the car body front part.

A power plant 14 is respectively supported by respective side frames 4. The power plant 14 is composed of an engine 18 arranged in one side part of a car body front part 2 and a transmission 20 which is arranged in the other side part of the car body front part 2 and is joined to a lower part of one side surface 19 of the engine 18. An impact force receiving member 25 is arranged in the vicinity of a front face 24 of a space 23 positioned above the transmission 20 on the upper outside of one side surface 19 of the engine 18. This impact force receiving member 25 is supported by the power plant 14.
